Carl Icahn: I might consider getting back into Apple if not for China concerns

My mole inside Apple says this is what Tim Cook could be heard screaming, “Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Carl! We have Warren Buffett now! We don’t need you!” But that was a couple weeks back. Now I am told Cook’s saying somethign about, “Good riddance to bad rubbish!” Look, I’m not actually saying that’s what he actually said. I’m saying that’s what I was told he said. I’m also not saying my source is Jony Ive, but look, no Ameican says rubbish. You decide!

Serioulsy though I think Icahn was bad for Apple (and AAPL). He brought negetive attention to how Apple was being run. Everyone wanted to second guess Apple’s cash hoard, and what they should do with it, thanks to Icahn. I’m also not convinced he understands the company or that his influence was welcome. I’m glad he’s out, now I just wish he’d take his couple billion and shut up.
